Kenley is so active. Gone are the days where I can sit her on the floor with toys around her and then go do the dishes or even turn my back on her. In an instant, she is standing at the coffee table trying to pull the papers off, pulling magazines out of the basket and eating the covers, or investigating the curtains by pulling on them.
She is a handful but more fun than ever.
I found this little school desk and my plan is to sand it down and paint it some fun happy color. It will probably happen once the weather is a bit warmer... and drier. Isn't it sooo cute?!
Thanks to Snowmageddon, Kenley's Grammy came down last Tuesday and they played all week together! Grammy was excited to see how much Kenley had changed since the last time she had visited... I was just explaining to her how I was so glad that we hadn't had any accidents or major falls yet. And then the next day Kenley was trying to stand up in the kitchen and hit her head on the corner of the wall. See the bruise line on her head? She cried really hard, this picture was taken after those tears.
You can still see some of those big tears under her eyes. She fell so hard that when we first picked her up, she had an indentation from the wall on her head. Ugh, break my heart!
Now that Kenley has her first two teeth, it was time that she got her first tooth brush. She would not let me brush her teeth - in fact, she hates when you try to stick something in her mouth against her will. We decided to let her try to brush her own teeth. The end result was a lot of chewing on the toothbrush but it was a cute start. I'll take it.
Still brushin'...
I cannot believe that she is almost 9 months old... those 9 months have gone by so fast. She is no longer a little helpless baby, she's growing into a happy toddler.
